• Father Pete Forbes / Rector

    Fr. Pete was ordained a deacon in 2012 and a priest in 2013 by bishop William A. Thompson of the Diocese of Western Anglicans under the province of the Anglican Church in North America. He holds a masters degree in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and earned a bachelors degree in religious studies from Vanguard University in southern California. Pete studied Anglican Theology through Trinity School of Ministry in Ambridge, Penn. He served as a deacon at St. James Anglican Church in Newport Beach, CA before moving to Oro Valley, AZ. in 2013 with his wife of over 30 years, Julie. They have two grown children, Jennifer and Jake, who reside in California with their spouses, Tomas and Diana. When Fr.   • Father Lee Sissel / Assisting priest

    Fr. L. Lee was originally ordained in August, 1992 in New Jerusalem Full Gospel Church in Muscatine, IA. He was pastor of a church in Alaska from 1996-1998. He lead an inter-denominational church for summer seasonal workers on Mackinac Island in Michigan from 1998-2004 when he relocated to Arizona. From 2004-2014 Fr. Lee ministered in Yuma, Ganado and Tucson as well as Gallup, NM. In Yuma he was the founding rector of Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church. In May 2014 Fr. Lee relocated to accept the position of vicar at Trinity Anglican Church in Monmouth, IL. One year later he returned to Yuma, Arizona and then to Tucson in 2017 where he assists at Kings Cross Anglican Church and has a growing ministry with the Gospel Rescue Mission as the Administrative Chaplain.   • Clint Nelson / Rector's warden

    Clint became a confirmed Anglican and member of our church in 2018. He is a lifelong Christian, originally raised in the Lutheran church, but also celebrating God’s glory in Baptist, Catholic, Orthodox, and Presbyterian churches. Clint loves worshiping together with his family: wife Sandy, daughter Sophia, and sons Alexander, Sam, and Justice. They are a family of readers with stacks of books everywhere and bookshelves lining the walls. Some of Clint’s special interests include constitutional law, colonial America, and contemporary politics. He and his family also take joy in their gardens and hiking.
